St. Patrick’s Day
Each month our Members participate in our card-making class! Our participants love to send them to friends and family as a fun greeting or birthday card! During COVID-19 this monthly activity continued as our team delivered kits to each villa and cottage so that they could make them at home. This month, we met back in the craft room with Paula to make our two birthday cards! It was St. Patrick’s Day so everyone wore green! So many beautiful smiles (and cards!) to go around!
Kite Flying
Let’s go fly a kite, up to the highest height! This was one of our best events we’ve had this year and the smiles say it all! We celebrated National ‘Go Fly A Kite’ Day by taking to the skies above Brightwater! The weather and wind cooperated to make this a successful afternoon with a huge turnout! Ida took the prize for being able to hoist the most kites! Once they were in the air, everyone enjoyed flying them just as much as we did when we were kids! Our Members on the 3rd-floor villa apartments could even watch the kites from their windows and said it was an awesome sight! We cannot wait to do this again!
Chef’s Table
Our Chef’s Table was led this month by Executive Chef Mark. We had a great turnout for his instructional event on making shrimp/crab cake sliders. To add to the fun, we welcomed two special guests from Florida – Bryant & Mary Pat! Chef Mark always includes some great tidbits, and this time was no different – the instruction and final product were incredible! We can’t wait to see what he whips up next!
